Job description

PK Education is currently recruiting an outstanding teacher for an SEN school based in Dudley.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work full-time at an SEN school in Dudley, starting ASAP and continuing into September, to develop their practice in a supportive and caring environment. The school is smaller, with a good Ofsted rating, and specializes in supporting learners with autism, anxiety, or mental health needs. The position involves working full-time long-term, covering both primary and secondary lessons. Some lessons are pre-planned, while others require planning by the teacher. Marking is expected, and PPA time is allocated.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional teacher capable of planning and delivering outstanding, creative lessons to maximize pupil engagement. Building and maintaining positive relationships and creating a safe, supportive learning environment are essential.

The candidate should have high expectations for themselves and their students, experience working with SEN pupils including ADHD, ASC, and SEMH difficulties, and be a strong classroom practitioner.

To be considered for the SEN Teacher role, you should have:

• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent, ECT).
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with staff and students.
• Strong subject knowledge in your chosen specialism.
