Qualifications

Position: SEN Primary Complex Needs Teacher
Class Size: Up to 8 pupils, with 3 Teaching Assistants
Location: Croydon, South London
School: Ofsted 'Outstanding' SEN School
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-Time, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Salary: Paid to scale | 170 - 250

SEN Teacher | Responsibilities
· Develop, implement, and regularly update individualised education plans for each student.
· Set specific, measurable goals tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
· Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
· Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to deliver comprehensive care.


SEN Teacher | Requirements
· UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
· Bachelor's degree/Qualifications in Special Education or a related field is desirable.
· Previous experience working with children with severe SEN, ASD and disabilities.
· Understanding of various disabilities and SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, physical disabilities, and cognitive impairments.
