About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher to work within our specialist unit, focusing on supporting children with communication and interaction needs. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with communication and interaction difficulties.
2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, to develop and implement effective strategies.
3. Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages confidence and independence.
5. Engage with parents and carers to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's development.

About You:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEN teaching.
2. Strong understanding of communication and interaction challenges, including autism spectrum conditions.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. A creative and adaptable approach to teaching.
5. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
