Qualifications

  • Experience across Key Stages 1 to 4.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

SEN Teacher - Make a Meaningful Impact in Northallerton


Location: Northallerton and surrounding areas (case dependent)

Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)

Hours: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working available)

Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)

Role Type: One-to-One Teaching for students with SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and medical needs

  3. Collaborate with Families: Work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of support and progress beyond the classroom.
  4. Promote Confidence and Achievement: Use creative, empathetic teaching to build resilience, self-esteem, and academic success.
  5. Lead by Example: Model positive behaviours and values that inspire students to reach their full potential.

What You'll Bring

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)

  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
