Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher for Alternative Provision in Louth. Qualifications

Location:Louth and surrounding areas

Pay:£30-£35 per hour (PAYE, case dependent)

Schedule:Monday to Friday | Term-Time Only

Hours:9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (flexible working available)

Focus:One-to-One Teaching | SEN, SEMH, SEMD, and Medical Needs

About The Role

Are you an experienced teacher looking for a more impactful way to support young learners? This role offers the chance to work one-to-one with students who need a personalised approach to education. You'll be delivering tailored academic and emotional support to children and young people with a range of additional needs, helping them re-engage with learning and build confidence in their abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver bespoke lessons in core subjects, adapted to individual learning styles
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and their families
Create a calm, structured environment that supports emotional and academic development
Encourage resilience, independence, and a positive mindset
Promote inclusive values and model positive behaviour

What We're Looking For

QTS or equivalent (PGCE)
Minimum 2 years' teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)
Experience across Key Stages 1-4
Background in supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or complex needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Legal right to work in the UK
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
