Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience teaching secondary students with SEN.
• Knowledge of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory needs.
• Ability to deliver cross-subject lessons.
• Calm, nurturing approach and strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across core and foundation subjects.
• Support students’ EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
• Create a structured, inclusive, and sensory-friendly learning environment.
• Assess, track, and report pupil progress.
• Collaborate with TAs, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet student needs.
• Promote students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Adapt teaching approaches to suit varying abilities and sensory requirements.
