Teaching Personnel are recruiting a SEN Teacher for a Coventry school supporting pupils aged 4-19 with SEN, ASD, MLD, SEMH and complex needs. The role offers either full-time or part-time hours within a school environment that provides life-skills focused education and on-site community facilities.

Applicants should hold Qualified Teacher Status and have experience in specialist settings, be able to mark, plan and teach, and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status is required for this SEN teaching role.
• Experience working in a Specialist School is essential.
• Demonstrate passion for education and helping pupils with SEN.
• Experience delivering the national curriculum to diverse learners.
• Ability to mark and plan lessons, and teach effectively.
• Collaborate well with colleagues and support staff as part of a team.
• Be willing to undertake a DBS check and provide references.

Responsabilités

• Teach SEN pupils aged 4–19 with SEN, ASD, MLD, SEMH and related needs.
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons aligned to the national curriculum.
• Mark work, provide feedback and track pupil progress.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student outcomes.
• Adhere to safeguarding and right to work requirements.
