Smile Education are currently recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join a thriving Secondary special school based within Wolverhampton.
The School Leadership Team are seeking an experienced and driven SEN Teacher to join their existing staff team on a long-term, full-time basis. An immediate start for this role is available.
About the Role:
- SEN Teacher – Secondary
- Full time role (Term time only)
- Supporting pupils with varying needs including ASD, SLD, MLD, SEMH
- Instructing/Collaborating/ Supporting 1:1 Teaching Assistants
- Delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupil needs
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess and evaluate individual pupil progression against learning, social and emotional development goals
About You:- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience of teaching SEN pupils
- Strong communication skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting pupils of all abilities
- Confidently differentiate for multiple pupils needs
- Able to travel to Wolverhampton
- Provide references covering the last 2 years
- Hold an enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education
