Job summary

Job description

A warm, inclusive and thriving secondary school in Taunton is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher to start as soon as possible. The school supports a diverse student population with a wide range of learning needs and is proud of its welcoming and compassionate community ethos.

You will work with small groups of students with EHCPs and identified needs, delivering personalised teaching that builds confidence, independence, and core skills. Supported by experienced TAs and external therapists, you will create an engaging, structured and caring learning environment.

Applicants must hold QTS and have experience working with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting. Strong knowledge of adaptive teaching, effective behaviour support, and a student-centred approach are essential. A current enhanced DBS is required.
