SEN Teachers Urgently Required - Shape the Future of Education at a Groundbreaking School

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a unique opportunity to make a real difference?

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join our team at a specialist school in Tokers Green, Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pioneering project, shaping the school's ethos and contributing to a supportive and innovative learning environment for young people aged 6-16 with autism spectrum disorder, moderate to severe learning needs, and associated difficulties.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for the quality of teaching and learning for all pupils assigned to you, with responsibility for their progress, welfare, and outcomes.
  • You will supervise the work of any support staff assigned to your pupils.
  • You will provide leadership across the school in a curriculum area, monitoring quality and standards, contributing to school planning, providing professional support to colleagues, and advising on resources and materials.
  • You will lead appropriate professional development initiatives.
  • You will implement the school's aims and ensure that our core values are embedded in everyday practice.
