Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain high standards of quality in teaching and learning
• Participate in school development planning and ongoing self-assessment
• Offer professional guidance and support to teaching and support staff
• Advise the Head of Education on suitable resources and instructional materials
• Lead relevant professional development initiatives
• Uphold and promote the School's mission and objectives

Requirements

• Hold PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with evidence of continued professional development.
• Solid understanding of Special Educational Needs, including relevant curricula and individualised learning plans.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, and similar roles.
• Strong capabilities in planning, preparing, documenting, and evaluating student progress.
• Practical experience in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those with complex communication or behavioural challenges.
