We are looking for a skilled and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team and support students with special educational needs in a positive and supportive learning environment. Beginning April 2025.

Duties as a SEN Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  2. Work closely with the SENCO and other professionals to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  3. Provide support to students both in and outside of the classroom, ensuring they are fully included in all activities.
  4. Use a range of strategies and resources to help students reach their full potential.
  5. Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed.
  6. Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other school staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Ideal SEN Teacher:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) and experience teaching students with special educational needs.
  • Knowledge of strategies and interventions for students with a range of learning difficulties.
  • The ability to differentiate lessons and provide tailored support for individual students.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team as a SEN Teacher.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to teaching, with a focus on improving student outcomes.
