Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Liverpool, UK

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who thrives on helping students overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

About the Role:
  1. Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH and speech & language difficulties.
  2. Develop and implement EHCP targets in collaboration with the SENCO and wider support team.
  3. Create a nurturing, structured, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes progress and independence.
  4. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support for every learner.
  5. Use a variety of teaching strategies and assistive technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  2. Experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally in a specialist or inclusive setting
  3. A patient, empathetic, and creative approach to teaching
  4. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with pupils
  5. Excellent communication and team-working abilities
