Dedicated QTS SEN Teacher Required - Long-Term Contract - Liverpool

Start Date: Immediate

Job Opportunity: Specialist SEN Educator

Randstad Education is actively searching for a highly dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in the Liverpool area.

We require an innovative and resilient educator committed to creating an exceptional learning environment for students with complex needs. You will be working with a diverse pupil group, including those with diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).

Responsibilities
  • Instructional Design: Skillfully create and execute highly differentiated lessons and individualised learning plans.
  • Curriculum Adherence: Ensure all teaching is compliant with the P Scales curriculum framework.
  • Pastoral Care: Build rapport to foster students' academic progress and social-emotional growth.
  • Behaviour & Engagement: Implement effective behaviour management and creative teaching techniques to sustain a positive classroom.
  • Student Support: Provide assistance with personal care routines when necessary.
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Essential Applicant Criteria (Mandatory)
  • Qualification: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience: Proven, prior experience supporting SEN students within UK schools.
  • Legal Status: Possess the legal right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not offered).
  • Compliance: You must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to process a new application immediately.
