Overview

SEN Teacher - Barking • Primary SEN Teacher • KS1 Class • Autism, SLD • Long term to permanent role • London Borough of Barking and Dagenham • Excellent staff morale • Brand new School

An SEN Teacher is required for a long-term position in this SEND school in Barking which caters to students aged 4-11 with moderate to severe learning disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver an engaging curriculum and use a versatile, creative and caring teaching approach.
  • Work with a team of dedicated teaching assistants who provide fantastic support to the children.
  • Support students who are vulnerable and have SEN including ASD, SLD, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, SLCN and SpLD.
Qualifications
  • UK QTS with SEND experience.
  • Ability to follow the National Curriculum and provide creative lessons.
  • Positive approach to teaching.
  • Ability to build good relationships with staff and pupils.
  • Fantastic classroom management.
