Job description

Location: Hammersmith and Fulham
Salary: £150 to £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education is currently looking for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to work in a supportive SEN school located in Hammersmith and Fulham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals.

Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.

Promote students’ emotional and academic development through positive reinforcement.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.

Has previous experience working in SEN settings (SEMH, ASD, MLD, PMLD preferred).

Patient, empathetic, and able to manage challenging behaviour effectively.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
