Are you a confident and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs?

Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic SEN Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Barnet from September. Shortlisting is taking place ASAP.

About the role:

As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored education to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism and dyslexia. You will work closely with a supportive team of teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. It is a mainstream school.

Key responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
* Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.

Requirements:

* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
* A strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
