SEN Teacher - North East. Job Type: Full-time and Part-time. Salary: £120 - £160 per day. Start Date: Immediate.

Job Description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to work across a range of specialist and mainstream schools across the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. Whether you're an experienced SEN specialist or a qualified teacher looking to transition into SEN, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support pupils with a range of SEND including ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD
  • Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to support development
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience working with children with SEND (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach to teaching
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
