Job description

SEN Teachers needed in Leicestershire

Hays Education is looking for an experienced, qualified SEN Teacher to join our team of dedicated practitioners supporting SEND schools across Leicestershire with day-to-day and long-term supply.
Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Leicestershire, including Leicester, Market Harborough, Lutterworth, Hinckley and Loughborough. As a Teacher working with Hays, you will have the opportunity to work in schools local to you whilst retaining control of your work-life balance.
Your new role
In your new job as a Teacher with Hays, you will have access to both part-time and full-time opportunities in SEND schools across Leicestershire delivering tailored, engaging lessons for pupils with individualised education plans. You'll work with like-minded practitioners to teach pupils with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD and PMLD. Hays Teachers make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people who have a range of care needs, life experiences and personalities which make every day different! You'll benefit from ongoing support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will help you find the placements which suit your skills and needs.
What you need to succeed
To succeed in your new job, you'll hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a minimum of 1 year's experience teaching in a SEND environment. You're someone who loves taking on a challenge and you enjoy adapting to new situations. You'll have supported pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and/or Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. Most importantly, you'll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to support pupils with a range of needs.
