Job description

Location: Westminster
Salary: £150 to £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

Are you a passionate and committed SEN Teacher looking to make a difference in a vibrant and inclusive school in Westminster? GSL Education is recruiting for an exceptional teacher who thrives in nurturing and empowering children with special educational needs.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the varying needs of pupils with SEN.

Support students with a range of learning difficulties including ASD, SEMH, and PMLD.

Manage behaviour positively and effectively, promoting engagement and achievement.

Liaise with parents and carers to support learning and development.

Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to ensure individual learning plans are met.

Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.

Proven experience teaching in a special school or SEN environment.

Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students and colleagues.

Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and SEN teaching practices.

Resilient, nurturing, and committed to inclusive education.
