Are you an experienced and resilient SEN Teacher ready to take on a new challenge in a supportive and rewarding environment? Three R’s Teacher Recruitment is working with established SEN schools in the Canterbury area that cater to students with a range of complex needs across both Primary and Secondary phases. These schools are well-resourced and committed to a therapeutic, holistic approach, offering strong support to you as a teacher.

SEN Teacher responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated and engaging lessons to pupils with needs such as SEMH, ASD, ADHD, SCLN, and trauma-informed behaviours
• Create a calm and structured classroom environment conducive to individual learning needs
• Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs and pastoral teams to support pupil development
• Follow and contribute to EHCP targets, behaviour plans and therapeutic strategies
• Build positive relationships with pupils through consistency, empathy and resilience

SEN Teacher requirements:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification with prior SEN teaching experience
• Understanding of complex and challenging behaviours and how to respond supportively
• Experience working with students with SEMH, autism, ADHD or related needs
• Calm, adaptable and proactive teaching style
• Driving licence preferred due to school locations
