Job description

SEN Teacher

SEN School catering for students aged 4-19 with ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD and challenging behaviour

Location: Bromley (BR2)

Hours: 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: 180 - 250 per day, depending on experience

Clear enhanced DBS required

SEN Teacher Duties:

  • Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Contribute to record-keeping by recording observations of pupils during the school day.
  • Communicate their knowledge and understanding of students to other school staff
  • Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
  • Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide teaching and learning support including the use of appropriate technical resources
  • Supporting and teaching students with SEN and additional needs
  • Work with other SEN Teaching Assistants in groups with students

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Fixed term contract Contract length: 3-12 months
