Job Summary:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs?

Snowfields Academy is opening its brand new, custom-built Minster Campus in September 2025, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a fresh, dynamic team at the very beginning of an exciting new chapter. You’ll have the chance to help shape the culture, vision, and learning environment of a brand-new campus, where your contributions will have a lasting impact on our students’ futures.

As an SEN Teacher at Snowfields Academy’s Minster Campus, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, tailored education for students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and delivering engaging, personalised lessons that meet the needs of students with a variety of SEN.
  2. Working closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.
  3. Supporting students to build confidence, independence, and life skills, while fostering a love of learning.
  4. Collaborating with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
  5. Contributing to the development of the Minster Campus, shaping a positive, inclusive culture from day one.
Who We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a primary, SEN, or mainstream subject specialist background. If you are passionate about making a real difference and have the drive and vision to contribute to the development of a new campus, we want to hear from you!

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Is adaptable and open to working in a range of subject areas, with the ability to tailor lessons to the individual needs of students.
  • Has strong communication and collaboration skills, and can work effectively within a team.
  • Is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Why Snowfields Academy?

Be part of a brand-new team at an exciting time of growth and development.
Play a key role in shaping the culture and vision of the Minster Campus.
Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.
A supportive and inclusive working environment where staff are valued and empowered.

This is a permanent, full-time position, offering MPS/UPS based on experience + SEN1 Allowance.
