Job Description:
v Deliveringdifferentiated,multi-sensory, andindividualised learning planstailored to pupils with a range ofSEND profiles
v Creating asafe,structured, andinclusive classroom environmentthat promotesemotional regulation,positive behaviour, andself-esteem
v Working collaboratively withTeaching Assistants,therapists, andexternal agenciesto provide a holistic approach to learning and development
v UsingEHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)to inform planning, assessment, and progress tracking
v Contributing to the wider school community throughteam collaboration,CPD opportunities, andfamily engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
v Have experience in SEN education (desirable but not essential)
v Be confident in usingadaptive teaching strategies,visual supports, andassistive technologyto meet diverse learning needs.
v Demonstrate strong knowledge ofSEND Code of Practiceandinclusive pedagogy.
v Be patient, empathetic, and skilled inbehaviour managementandtrauma-informed practice.
v Hold a currentenhanced DBS certificateor be willing to obtain one
