Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher with a passion for SEN education? Three R’s Teacher Recruitment are working with an established SEN school local to Ashford who are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to join their welcoming team.

In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in delivering engaging and therapeutic education to students with a range of needs. You’ll support small class sizes of 5–10 pupils across both Primary and Secondary divisions, ensuring every child has the chance to thrive.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative, adaptive lessons tailored to meet individual student needs
  • Support pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and a range of language and communication difficulties
  • Foster a therapeutic, inclusive environment that encourages progress and personal development
  • Work collaboratively with a skilled team of teaching assistants and SEN specialists
  • Contribute to the wider school ethos of care, trust, and achievement

SEN Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting SEN students (SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties)
  • Strong behaviour management and pastoral care skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse and individual learning needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
