Join Aspire - Teaching Assistants Wanted in Kidderminster
Aspire is a supportive and ambitious education setting for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated behaviours linked to Autism. We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our growing team and support students in Years 8, 9, and 10.
The Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Aspire, you will:

  1. Support student learning in small class sizes (up to 8 students)
  2. Promote wellbeing and independence
  3. Manage behaviour positively and calmly
  4. Provide personal care when required
  5. Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a nurturing and structured learning environment
What We're Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

  1. Have experience in education, especially with SEMH or Autism
  2. Are calm, caring, and resilient
  3. Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/Level 2 or above)
  4. Have a full, clean driving licence
  5. Hold (or are working towards) a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
Working Hours

* Term-time only: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
