SEN Teaching Assistant - All-Through Special School (SLD/PMLD/ASD)

We are seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a welcoming all-through special school in Dudley. The role involves supporting pupils aged 3-19 with a range of needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Most pupils are non-verbal and require personalised support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups across various subjects and activities.
2. Using alternative communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, and visual aids.
3. Assisting with personal care routines including toileting, feeding, and changing.
4. Promoting independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning.
5. Contributing to a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for all pupils.

We are looking for someone who:

1. Has experience working with children or young people with SLD, PMLD, or ASD.
