Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support specialist schools across Lichfield and Tamworth. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs, helping them communicate and participate in learning.

We welcome caring, patient individuals with excellent communication and teamwork skills, ready to make a positive difference in education. Previous experience in education or care settings is desirable, but training and DBS checks are

About the Role

You'll work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism (ASC)
• ADHD
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs
• Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties
• Complex and Medical Needs

Your responsibilities may include:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
