Strategy Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants, Teaching Assistants and HLTA across South London schools. Roles include 1:1 support, small groups, and leading lessons for HLTA positions. Full-time and part-time, short- and long-term opportunities, with salary dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a TA, SEN TA, LSA or HLTA is desirable
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs is advantageous for SEN-focused roles
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Patient, positive, reliable and adaptable
• Confident supporting learning and promoting positive behaviour
• Able to work effectively as part of a school team
• Passionate about helping children and young people reach their potential
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle — essential

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting class teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs and additional learning needs
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop confidence and independence
• Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Preparing learning resources and assisting with classroom activities
• Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and wider support teams
• For HLTA positions, leading lessons and delivering planned learning activities when required
