Overview

Are you eager to support children with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties to engage, express, and grow through English and communication? Can you bring kindness, patience, and creativity to help make lessons accessible, fun, and meaningful for each individual?

We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join Landon School. You will support teachers in the classroom, working one-to-one or in small groups to build reading, writing, phonics, and communication skills, while adapting resources and activities to suit individual learning styles. You will help monitor pupil progress, encourage positive behaviour, and work collaboratively with therapists and staff to embed strategies into everyday lessons. By supporting both academic and social development, you will help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood.
