Job summary

Moore Teachers is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties at a specialist school in Hertfordshire. The role involves assisting the class teacher and delivering learning activities across the school day, including swimming with pupils weekly.

The school educates 2–19-year-olds with EHCPs, has an Outstanding Ofsted rating (2024), and offers a supportive environment with strong parental and community links.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting or similar environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom and wider school team.
• Patient, positive and adaptable approach to support pupils.
• Willingness to support pupils across different aspects of their school day.
• Experience with children with complex or SEN needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities
