The Role:

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with students who require additional support to access the curriculum and succeed in a mainstream setting. You’ll be a key part of the school’s SEN team, helping to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of special educational needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
About You:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in schools or alternative settings)
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Certificate) are desirable but not essential
