Remedy Education is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in Kingston upon Thames to support an 11-year-old with ASD and GDD. The role is part-time (15 hours/week), 3 hours daily, Monday to Friday, under a 2:1 support arrangement with a SEN Tutor.
You will use visual supports and clear language to help the student engage, with emphasis on calm, consistent strategies and regulated sessions. Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Remedy Tutors are looking for an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a 2:1 support package for an 11-year-old student in Kingston upon Thames.
The student has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Global Developmental Delay (GDD), with complex needs around communication, social interaction, attention and listening, sensory processing, emotional regulation, play and independence.
The successful TA will work alongside the SEN Tutor to provide consistent, calm and personalised support, helping the student to engage with learning and feel safe and regulated throughout the session.
Experience with AAC, Attention Autism, Intensive Interaction, visual communication strategies or similar approaches would be desirable.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, will be required.
