Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic SEN TA to join our team in Harrow on a full-time basis, ASAP START. The role involves 1:1 support for SEN pupils within a mainstream primary setting, with training and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year KS1/KS2 experience in the UK, SEN experience, and safeguarding training. The school offers a supportive environment and potential contract extension or permanent appointment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 OR 2 experience in the UK.
• SEN experience working with children.
• Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year.

JOB TITLE - SEN 1:1 LSA

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching are looking for an SEN TA to join their team, full time, ASAP START!

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team.

The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Harrow, HA1.
• Type of work - TA - 1:1 support with SEN individuals.
• Position - Teaching Assistant
• Contract or position start date - ASAP START
• Duration / Likely Duration - Until end of the academic year July 2027 (possibly on-going)
• Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2027
• Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Contract
• Full time/part time - Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £100 per day
• Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 OR 2 experience in the UK
• SEN experience working with children
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
