  • Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026
  • Salary – SCP 4-6 (£24,404 - £25,183 Full time equivalent)
  • Actual salary from £16,509 - £17,036 per year
  • Hourly rate of pay - £12.65 - £13.05
  • Days and Hours: 8:50am – 3:20pm Mon - Fri (30 hours per week)

The children, staff, and Governors of Mells Church First School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs in a thriving school environment. The post will be for 30 hours spread across 5 days.

We are looking for:

  • An enthusiastic and fun-loving SEN teaching assistant with experience working with individual children.
  • Someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the school team.
  • A kind and caring personality that enjoys supporting children to achieve their aims and fulfill their dreams.
  • Supportive of the Christian ethos of the school.
