Are you a proactive and solution-oriented individual looking for a meaningful role in education? We are hiring a reliable and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN department in Sefton. This is a full-time, long-term position commencing in September.

Your Role and What We Need

  • Supporting students with special educational needs in both class activities and one-on-one sessions.
  • Promoting student engagement and emotional well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student behaviour and development.
  • Communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Building strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Collaborating effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered or willing to obtain).
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and personal growth.
