Bradford to recruit a dedicated
SEN Teaching Assistant to join a
resourced provision supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs.
The Role This is a rewarding opportunity to:
- Support children with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Work within a specialist resourced provision designed to meet individual learning and developmental needs
- Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and teaching staff to deliver tailored support
- Contribute to IEPs, behaviour strategies, and progress tracking
- Help build a positive, safe, and structured learning environment
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
- Experienced (or keen to gain experience) working with children with SEND, especially ASD, MLD, or SEMH
- Skilled in using communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual supports (desirable but not essential)
- Able to adapt quickly and show initiative in a dynamic learning environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- References covering the last 2 years
