About this client

Zed is a vibrant and sunny-natured teenager with a variety of interests and needs. He enjoys watching TV and films (especially musicals and theatre), reading Mr. Men books, and playing accessible games on his iPad or phone. He loves outdoor activities, swimming, and spending time with his family’s pets. Zed has Coffin-Lowry Syndrome, moderate to severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, ADHD, dyspraxia, and presents similarly to Down Syndrome. While verbal, his expressive language can be inconsistent. He uses a wheelchair for longer distances and a walker at school; he can walk short distances at home with support. He needs help with dressing, personal care (toileting, handwashing, hygiene) and staying safe to prevent falls, but he remains eager to stay independent.
