Job summary

St Bart’s Multi Academy Trust in Weston Infant Academy is seeking a Level 3 SEN support worker to join our SEND Inclusion Base. The role supports pupils with a range of needs and works closely with teachers to ensure learning continuity in a supportive setting.

You will assist with learning activities, monitor pupil progress, manage resources, and help with personal care and safeguarding responsibilities as part of a caring, professional team committed to our PEACE values.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with SEND pupils welcomed.
• Enhanced Disclosure check required ( DBS ).
• Ability to work as part of a professional team with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as directed by the teacher.
• Provide feedback to pupils and record progress under teacher guidance.
• Support learning by arranging resources and assisting with ICT usage.
• Attend to pupils' personal needs and support social, welfare and health matters.
• Supervise pupils throughout the day in classroom, playground and dining areas.
• Safeguard and promote welfare of children and young people and raise concerns as appropriate.
• Other duties appropriate to the post.
