Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and non-experienced SEN Support Workers to join our casual team in educational settings. We are seeking flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals who want to work in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided to suitable candidates.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs within an educational setting. The goal is to create an environment that caters to the young person's intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons and have diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, we require individuals who have the confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Please note that you will need to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully finish one of our induction programs before any placements are offered.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Build strong professional relationships with service users and staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for young people and staff.
- Keep up to date with all communication and information systems.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings.
- Support young people in managing their behavior using approved skills.
- Promote equality and acknowledge individual differences.
- Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users.
- Write accurate reports for reviews and maintain written records for monitoring purposes.
- Attend all required training and aim to achieve relevant qualifications.
- Be reliable and punctual, following a set shift pattern.
- Stay updated with all procedures and policy changes.
- Take responsible care for health and safety of yourself and others.
- Undertake additional duties relevant to the role as needed.
