Job description

Residential Support Staff – Ribchester, PR3 – Immediate Start Available

Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference? We are recruiting Residential Support Workers, Waking Night Staff, and a Team Leader to join a dedicated team at an SEN School in Ribchester (PR3). This independent specialist day and residential school provides a high standard of education for students aged 8–19 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related conditions.

Roles Available:

  • Residential Support Workers – 9 Vacancies
  • Waking Night Support Workers – 2 Vacancies
  • Team Leader – 1 Vacancy

What We’re Offering:

  • Immediate start from 28th April
  • Flexible full-time or part-time hours (minimum 20 per week)
  • Various shift patterns available (days/nights/rotas)
  • Temp-to-perm opportunities
  • Full training and support with the opportunity to earn a Level 3 qualification

Pay Rates:

  • £13.75 per hour (Unqualified)
  • £14.20 per hour (Qualified)
  • Team Leader: £15.38 per hour (based on 42 hours/week)

What You Need:

  • Availability from 28th April for a two-week induction
  • Willingness to work across a 52-week or 41-week (term-time + 2 weeks) contract
  • A caring nature and commitment to child welfare
  • Experience working with children is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Location: Based in Ribchester, PR3. Applicants should be local or willing to relocate within a reasonable commute.
