Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an Individual Needs Assistant for a leading SEN school in Hassocks. The role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support to learners with SEN, within a nurturing environment on a full-time schedule (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon–Fri).

Interviews are taking place soon, with a welcoming bonus and full training offered. The ideal candidate has childcare or TA experience, GCSEs in Maths and English, and eligibility to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare, teaching assistant or care experience (must provide references).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience supporting children or adults with SEN is desirable (bonus).
• Calm, nurturing and resilient individual.

Responsibilities

• Support learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis.
• Support the educational and general well-being of SEN learners.
• Promote and create a fun, engaging learning environment.
