Job summary

Lady Lumley’s Academy in Pickering is seeking a part-time SEN Support Officer to support the SENCO, track interventions and help improve pupil progress for pupils with SEND.

You will deliver bespoke intervention packages to secondary pupils, coordinate admin, and contribute to a supportive learning environment within the academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in an education setting preferred.
• Ability to work with the SENCO and track pupil progress.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Lady Lumley’s Academy are looking to appoint a SEN Support Officer (SENSO) to join our academy in October 2026 on a part time, permanent basis.

Your new role

As the SEN Support Officer, you will provide administrative support for the SENCO and ensure tracking and delivery of interventions to improve pupil progress across the Academy. You will deliver bespoke intervention packages to secondary aged pupils with SEND designed to remove barriers to learning.
