Havannah First School in Newcastle Great Park is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant Level 2. You will work in the classroom with teachers, assist with teaching and learning activities, and help deliver intervention programs for children with SEN.

The role also includes supervision during playtimes and a 30-minute lunchtime duty. The candidate should be resilient, positive and capable of working well both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and supporting children with SEN.
• An enhanced DBS check and safeguarding awareness required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.

Responsabilités

• Work in the classroom alongside teaching staff and support teaching and learning activities.
• Support the provision of intervention programs for children with SEN.
• Supervise playtimes and 30 minutes of lunchtime supervision.
