The school caters to children aged 4-11 with complex needs, including autism, sensory processing difficulties, communication challenges, and associated learning needs. * Foster a calm, structured, and positive environment to reduce anxiety and build pupils' confidence

* Learn to roll out specialist interventions to support communication, social interaction, and sensory needs

* Assist with challenging behaviours, pastoral support, and personal care

* Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to ensure students receive a well-rounded learning experience

* Adapt learning materials and resources to suit the individual needs of each student

This Bath school provides a highly structured and nurturing environment for both students and staff. Working as an SEN Support Assistant will give you invaluable experience for a future career in education and training, psychology, speech and language therapy, counselling, social work, or occupational therapy.
