Job summary

The Vale Primary Academy are seeking a SEN Support Officer to join our academy in November 2026 on a part-time, temporary basis. You will provide one-to-one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and notes for individuals.
• Knowledge of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs) is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff and families.

The Vale Primary Academy are looking to appoint a SEN Support Officer to join our academy in November 2026 on a part time, temporary basis.

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will provide one to one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.
