Job description

Job Overview

Willoughby Road Primary Academy are looking to appoint a temporary SEN Support Assistant for 32.5 hours per week, term time only to join the academy in September 2025. This is a fixed position until 31st August 2026.

The position is linked to EHCP funding and will be to support pupils on a 1:2:1 basis to ensure they are accessing the curriculum and developing their understanding, whilst providing the support for their emotional wellbeing and individual needs.

Your new role

As an SEN Support Assistant, you will provide one to one personal support for pupils with additional needs who are in receipt of an Education Health Care Plan. You will provide special educational and/or medical support to ensure their successful engagement with and access to learning. You will need to maintain professional records and appropriate notes in relation to the individual pupil.

Hours: 32.5 hours per week / Term Time only (38 weeks)
