Job summary

A secondary SEN school located in Greenwich is looking for experienced SEN Support Assistants to start in September. Qualifications

SEN Support Assistant - Secondary SEN School in Greenwich

Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Location: Greenwich, South East London

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary SEN school in Greenwich for experienced and compassionate SEN Support Assistants to start in September. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact in a highly supportive educational setting.

The Role:

Support students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism and PMLD

Work closely with class teachers to create a safe and engaging learning environment

Deliver personalised learning activities and assist with care plans

Encourage development of independence, social interaction, and life skills

Provide support with personal care as required

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working in an SEN or specialist education setting is essential

Comfortable with personal care and supporting students with high levels of need

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Calm, flexible, and proactive approach

Educated to at least Level 1 in English and Maths

Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (term time only)
