Job summary

Randstad Education in Taunton is seeking a compassionate SEN Supply Teacher for flexible day-to-day work across local mainstream schools and specialist SEN provisions. You will support learners with SEMH, ADHD, ASC and LD, delivering differentiated lessons and implementing IEPs while maintaining safeguarding standards.

The role requires QTS/QTLS (ECTs/NQTs with SEN experience welcome), excellent communication, and adaptability to primary and secondary environments with short notice placements.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS required (ECTs/NQTs with SEN experience welcome).
• Experience with SEMH, ADHD, Autism or Learning Disabilities.
• Flexibility to work across Primary and Secondary settings at short notice.
• Excellent communication, emotional resilience, patience and empathy.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to SEN needs.
• Provide tailored support for pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASC and LD.
• Use trauma-informed behaviour management to keep a safe classroom.
• Collaborate with HLTA/TA and SENCOs to deliver IEPs.
• Uphold safeguarding and school policies for pupil wellbeing.
