We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team and provide tailored, high-quality support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a SEN Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
2. Work with the SENCO and other staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
3. Provide one-to-one or small group instruction to support academic and social development.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
5. Support students with communication, behaviour, and emotional development in and outside of the classroom.
6. Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
7. Promote an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Ideal SEN Teacher:

1. A degree in Education, SEN, or a relevant field.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
3. Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally in a mainstream or specialist setting.
4. Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and teaching practices.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a SEN Teacher.
6. Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to working with students with additional needs.
